A ridge of high pressure is extending from the Northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 15-30, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 38 knots in the morning, diminishing till the evening to 8-18 knots and turning in the open of the North and Central Adriatic to NW. Sea 3-4, calming to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, only in the Bay of Kvarner fair. Warmer.
