A field of raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 4-12, south of Istria up to 16 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic mainly NW 4-12, in the extreme south at first up to 16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic south of Istria and toward the Strait of Otranto 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Mostly clear, in the North Adriatic fine or fair and a risk of light scattered rain in the Bay of Kvarner. Light variable winds, in the North Adriatic up to moderate SW. Sea smooth, locally in the northern part up to slight. No significant change in air temperatures.
