A trough with a frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the Northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part off the Central Adriatic NE winds, in the open sea NW winds, 6-12 knots. Elsewhere SE winds, 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably to mostly cloudy with local rain, showers and thunder. In the South Adriatic in places more abundant precipitations. The air temperature will not change.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic partial clearing. Elsewhere variably to mostly cloudy with local rain, showers and thunder. Along the coast of the North and Central Adriatic light NE winds, in the open sea moderate NW winds. Elsewhere moderate to strong SE winds, diminishing during the morning and turning to SW. Sea smooth to slight, in the South Adriatic moderate.
