A field of a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 6-16, in the open sea up to 20, from the middle of the night in the Central Adriatic and in the Bay of Kvarner again SE winds strengthening to 10-20, in the greater part of the North Adriatic NE winds 6-14 knots. In the South Adriatic and in southern Dalmatia SE winds 12-24 knots, briefly diminishing late in the day and turning to SW, and strengthening again during the night. Sea mainly 2-3, in the south 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Partly clear, but rain is still likely in the south and new cloud increase with rain during the night.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Fair or mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, particularly in the South and Central Adriatic. Moderate to strong, in the south of the Adriatic up to near gale force SE, in the northern part light to moderate NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the South Adriatic up to moderate.
