SYNOPSIS

A new low with frontal disturbance is approaching from the west towards the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE wind intensifying to 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 22 knots. In the extreme north of the Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel NE and E winds 6-14 knots. The sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and showers with thunder, particularly at night. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, locally also near gale SE wind, in the extreme north of the Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel light NE wind. Sea slight to moderate. Fair to mostly cloudy with scattered rain and showers with thunder. No significant change in air temperatures.
