The ridge of high is spreading from the north-west towards the Adriatic while a trough over the South Adriatic is slowly filled up.

NE and N winds, 15-25 knots, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots, diminishing in the second part of the day to 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 25 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility more than 20 km. Fine to fair and cold. In the extreme south of the Adriatic and in the Strait of Otranto variably cloudy, locally a risk of rain or a shower.
