The ridge of high is spreading from the north-west towards the Adriatic while a trough is slowly filling up over the Ionian Sea.

NW wind, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE wind reinforcing to 12-26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the North Adriatic intensifying to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, in the extreme south of the Adriatic scattered rain, showers and thunder.
