IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AT FIRST GUSTS OF SW WINDS 35-50, DIMINISHING AND GIVING WAY IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT TO SE, IN NORTHERN DALMATIA TO E, IN PLACES ALONG THE COAST TO NE, AND STRENGTHENING TO 40-70 KNOTS. A low over the Adriatic is filling up, but a new one is deepening over the western Mediterranean and slowly shifting toward the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North Adriatic NE winds 12-28, strengthening in the second part of the night to 30-40 knots. Elsewhere at first SW and SE winds 12-28, diminishing in the afternoon to 6-16 and in the second part of the night SE, in northern Dalmatia E, in places along the coast NE winds, strengthening to 20-40 knots. Sea 3-4, in the second part of the night 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly or variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers and thunder, in the North Adriatic with a chance of sleet or snow.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Mainly cloudy with occasional rain, showers and thunder. In the North Adriatic a chance of sleet and snow. In the North Adriatic and along the coast of northern Dalmatia up to gale force NE, elsewhere near gale and gale force SE winds. Sea moderate and rough. Colder in the North, but air temperatures will warm up a little in the rest of the Adriatic.
