A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast, while a trough with frontal system is approaching slowly from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in places along the coast E and NE winds, strengthening to 4-14, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair with some more clouds in the North Adriatic and with a risk of light scattered rain.

Fair or mainly cloudy with light rain in places. Light to fresh SE, in places along the coast E and NE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
