IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE EVENING AND DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50 KNOTS EXPECTED ALL ALONG THE ADRIATIC, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC UP TO 70 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure has intensified from the northeast toward the Adriatic.

NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 26, strengthening in the evening and during the night to 14-26, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 36 knots. Sea 2-3, in the evening and during the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, only in the open still variably cloudy with a risk of rain at first.
