LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-70, TOMORROW UP TO 40 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS, DIMINISHING TOMORROW MORNING. SEA IN THE OPEN 5-6, CALMING TOMORROW. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.
SYNOPSIS
A low over the Tyrrhenian Sea is extending a trough with frontal system toward the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and E winds 15-35, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 45 knots. In the North, during the night in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, NE and E winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 5-6. Visibility 5-15 km. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to near gale force SE and E winds, diminishing a little through the day. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds, diminishing during the forenoon. Sea slight and moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to rough. Overcast with rain and showers, ceasing through the day, when partial clearing is expected.
