SYNOPSIS
A low is shifting from southern Italy toward the Ionian Sea, while a new trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest.

In the North Adriatic NE and NW winds 8-18, diminishing to 4-10 knots. Elsewhere SE winds 12-24, diminishing in the Central Adriatic and turning to NW and SW winds 4-10, in the South Adriatic diminishing to 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4, calming to 1-2, in the South Adriatic to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
