SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening and a weakened frontal disturbance is expected to shift across the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW winds 4-12, in the open sea up to 16, turning in the North Adriatic in the evening, in the Central during the night, to NE and N and strengthening to 12-24, in the Velebit Channel to NE up to 28 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open 2-3, during the night 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, late in the day becoming cloudy with a little rain in the North, during the night possibly in the rest of the Adriatic.
