SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the North, while a low over the Western Mediterranean is deepening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Velebit Channel NE winds 10-20 knots, diminishing. Elsewhere SE winds strengthening to 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the afternoon. No significant change in air temperatures, in places a little higher.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with light scattered rain in the North Adriatic. Moderate to fresh SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of northern Dalmatia up to moderate.
