SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the North, while a low over the Western Mediterranean is deepening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic E and NE winds 6-12, in the Velebit Channel up to 16 knots, diminishing. Elsewhere, and south of Porer, SE winds 8-16, in the open 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the second part of the night and in the morning south of Porer and in the open of the of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase with scattered rain in the North and Central Adriatic during the night. Air temperatures a little higher.

Variably cloudy with light scattered rain in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. In the North Adriatic light to moderate NE and E, south of Porer and elsewhere as well, moderate to strong SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the Central Adriatic and south of Porer up to moderate.
