A low over the western Mediterranean is building up and it is extending slowly towards the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 6-16 knots, in the afternoon and in the night 12-22 knots. In the golf of Trieste in the second part of the night NE winds, 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the night in the open sea 3-4. Visibility 10-30 km. Increase of cloudiness.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy, locally rain, mainly in the South and in the Central Adriatic. Moderate to strong SE winds, in the golf of Trieste during the morning NE winds. Sea slight, in the open sea locally moderate. The air temperature will not change significantly.
