LOCAL GUSTS OF SE, 35-40 KNOTS, DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNINGOF NE WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS, UP TO 55 IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL. IN THE NIGHT LOCALLY RISK OF THUNDER STORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC.
SYNOPSIS
A Mediterranean low is extending its trough towards the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and E winds, 15-25 knots, in the open sea up to 30. In the extreme North and in Kvarner NE and E winds, 5-15 knots. In the evening and in the night turning everywhere to NE, 12-24 knots, in the Velebit Channel up to 28. Sea 3-4, briefly increasing in the open possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloudy, locally rain, during the nigh a risk of thunder showers, mainly in the South Adriatic.

Moderate to fresh NE, in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Tomorrow around midday diminishing. Sea slight to moderate. Cloudy, locally rain, thunder showers in the South Adriatic, in the morning precipitations will cease and it will partially clear.
