SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high is gradually weakening over the Adriatic while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the south-west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, locally along the coast of the North Adriatic also E wind 6-16 knots. Still forenoon SE wind intensifying in the South, till the end of the day also elsewhere to 10-20 knots. Sea intensifying to 2-3, towards the end of the day and at night in the South and Central Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, locally with some rain.

Variably cloudy with some rain, then more intense cloud increase with more rain. Light to fresh SE wind intensifying to moderate to strong, from the middle of the night in the South and Central Adriatic also of near gale force.
