SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high is gradually weakening over the Adriatic while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the south-west.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE wind 8-16, till the end of the day 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, till the end of the day in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with light rain in places. No significant change in air temperatures.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
More intense cloud increase with scattered rain, in places showers with thunder. Strong to near gale, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic gale force SE wind. In the North Adriatic moderate to fresh NE and E winds. Sea slight to moderate, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic rough.
