A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest, while a low over the Ionian Sea is filling up and shifting further eastwards.

NE, in the open sea NW winds, 16-34, in the Central Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots, diminishing firstly in the northern part. Sea 3-4, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 5. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear with some clouds in places in the morning. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain. Air temperatures a little lower.
