A ridge of high pressure is extending from the northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic SE, in the open sea SW winds as well, strengthening to 6-16 knots. Elsewhere NW winds 10-20, in the South Adriatic up to 24 knots, gradually diminishing and dying away. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic at first 3-4, calming in the Central Adriatic to 1-2. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair.
