SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is slowly approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North Adriatic SW winds, gradually strengthening to 6-16, in the Central Adriatic up to 20, and in the North up to 26 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic up to 3, increasing to 2-3, in the North Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic cloud increase, elsewhere fine or fair. In the North Adriatic scattered rain, mainly in the area of Rijeka.

Cloud increase all over the Adriatic. Rain will be spreading from the North to the Central Adriatic. Light to fresh SE, in the North Adriatic and in the open sea SW winds. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic winds will be up to strong at first. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
