A trough is slowly extending from the northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Fine or fair, but gradual heavier cloud increase late in the day. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably, in the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain. Moderate to strong, in the open sea up to near gale force SE winds. In the extreme north of the Adriatic light to moderate NE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
