IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 30-40, AT FIRST UP TO 60, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 80 KNOTS. ELSEWHERE GUSTS OF SE WINDS EXPECTED TO REACH 30-40 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC UP TO 5 AT FIRST. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North Adriatic NE winds 16-34, in the Velebit Channel up to 46, diminishing to 12-24 knots and turning in the southern part to SE. In the rest of the Adriatic SE winds 8-18, strengthening to 14-28 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the North Adriatic at first up to 5. Visibility 10-20, in places 4-8 km due to rain. Overcast with rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers, thunder and more abundant precipitation in places.
