SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 8-16, in the Velebit Channel and in places along the coast of the Central Adriatic 16-24 knots, diminishing. In the open sea in the afternoon NW winds 6-14, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 14-22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear with some passing clouds at times. A little warmer.

Along the coast light to moderate NE, in the open sea light to moderate, in the open of the South Adriatic in the evening up to fresh NW winds, diminishing in the second part of the night.
