A weakened frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 12-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots, diminishing till the end of the day. In the South Adriatic SE winds 10-18, turning in the evening to NW winds 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 4. Visibility 15-25 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradual clearing. Elsewhere variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Cooler.
