A ridge of high is intensifying from the north-west towards the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W winds 4-12, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 16 knots while at night NW and NE winds 5-10 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE wind 10-15 knots. At night in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE wind up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, calming at night to 1-2, but will remain 2-3 in the South Adriatic. Visibility more than 20 km. Clear.
