SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance lies north of the Adriatic and it is expected to shift southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in places SW winds, 5-15 knots. Sea 1-2, locally up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic. Elsewhere still mostly clear.

In the North and Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. In the South Adriatic cloud increase. Light to moderate SE winds strengthening tomorrow to moderate to strong, in the North Adriatic and in the open turning possibly to SW. Sea smooth or slight.
