SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance lies north of the Adriatic and it is expected to shift southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 6-16, diminishing during the night to 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North and Central Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE and SW winds gradually turning in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, to NW and diminishing. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
