A trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North Adriatic SW winds, gradually strengthening to 10-20 knots, firstly in the north of the Adriatic. Late in the day in the North Adriatic NW and NE winds 10-20 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, in the North Adriatic possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic cloud increase, bringing rain, showers and thunder later on. Elsewhere mostly clear.

Cloud increase all over the Adriatic. Rain, showers and thunder spreading from the North to a part of the Central Adriatic. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic a little risk of rain, showers and thunder. Moderate to strong, only in places up to gale force NW and NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong SE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
