SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure will intensify from the northwest. A low over the Aegean sea is extending a shallow trough towards the South Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-24 knots, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic 16-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 40, in the afternoon in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic diminishing and at the end of the day increasing again. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic locally 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Light to moderate cloudy, in the South Adriatic moderate to mostly cloudy wit a little rain in places. The air temperatures will not change significantly, or they will fall just a little bit.
