A risk of thunderstorms in places. At night in the North Adriatic local gusts of NE wind 35-40, in the Velebit Channel up to 45 knots.
SYNOPSIS
A shallow low with frontal disturbance is shifting from the Tyrrhenian sea towards the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE wind 8-18 knots. Forenoon first in the North, then gradually in the rest of the Adriatic turning to NW and NE wind 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair to mostly cloudy with rain and thunder, in places a risk of noticeable showers. No significant change in air temperatures.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Light to moderate NW and NE winds, in the North Adriatic NE wind reinforcing to moderate and strong. Sea smooth to slight. Partial clearing up while in places with variable cloudiness still a risk of rain while of showers with thunder mainly in the South Adriatic.
