SYNOPSIS

A shallow low has generated over the western Mediterranean and it is expected to be shifting eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 4-10, in the North Adriatic up to 15, strengthening to 10-20, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic overcast with rain and with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly late in the day. Elsewhere cloud increase, bringing rain in places of northern Dalmatia from midday.
