SYNOPSIS

A low centered over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough with frontal disturbance over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic mainly SW winds 6-16, in places during the night up to 20 knots. In the South and Central Adriatic SE winds 14-28 knots, diminishing a little toward the end of the day and turning in places to SE, in the Central Adriatic SW winds as well. Sea 2-3, in the South and Central Adriatic 3-4, locally in the open up to 5 at first. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
