A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds strengthening to 12-26, in the South and Central Adriatic at first NW 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, only locally up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, in the South Adriatic mainly cloudy, and in the extreme south a risk of rain, showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Fine or fair with more clouds possibly in the south of the Adriatic. Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
