A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM MIDDAY AND IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL DURING THE NIGHT UP TO 55 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A shallow low centered over the Ligurian Sea will be shifting southeastwards.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 12-24, in places up to 28, turning in the North Adriatic from midday to NE 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong SE turning in the rest of the Adriatic to moderate and fresh NE, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate. Mainly cloudy with rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, but gradual clearing is expected in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night.
