SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the European land is intensifying over the Adriatic, while a shallow low over the Ionian Sea is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-20 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and E, in the open at first SE winds, 6-16 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 15-30, during the night up to 35 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the Velebit Channel 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear. In the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, still with rain in places at first.
