SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the European land is intensifying over the Adriatic, while a shallow low over the Ionian Sea is slowly filling up.

NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and E winds, 8-18, strengthening in the evening to 12-26 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 14-32, in the evening up to 38 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the Velebit Channel 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear. In the open of the South Adriatic variably cloudy with rain in places.
