A broad and persistent field of high pressure keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 5-10, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 15 knots. Along the coast during the night calm or NE winds 5-10, in the Velebit Channel up to 15 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, or even less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night. Mostly clear with some clouds in places.

Calm or light NW, in places along the coast light NE winds, only in the Velebit Channel up to moderate. Sea smooth, in the open of the South Adriatic up to slight. Mist and fog in places. Mostly clear.
