A RISK OF FOG IN PLACES, MAINLY IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE ADRIATIC. DURING THE NIGHT IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the West, while a weakened frontal disturbance is shifting across the Croatian inland further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the open sea, then along the coast as well, NW winds 6-16 knots. Along the coast during the night NE winds 6-12, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, toward the end of the day and during the night 2-3. Visibility 5-15, but in places still less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Variably cloudy with a little risk of light scattered rain or drizzle.

Variably cloudy, still with a little risk of light scattered rain or drizzle during the night. A risk of mist and fog in places, mainly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Light to moderate N and NW, along the coast during the night NE winds, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight.
