DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and SW WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. TOMORROW TILL MIDDAY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A deep trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and SW winds 5-15, gradually strengthening to 15-25 knots. West of Istria mainly SW and NW winds 5-15 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, mainly in the North Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong SE and SW winds. In the North Adriatic during the forenoon moderate to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with rain in places, mainly in the North Adriatic.
