IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-60, IN PLACES UP TO 75 KNOTS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND SEA IN THE OPEN UP TO 5.

SYNOPSIS

A low is deepening over the North Adriatic and it will gradually shift southeastwards, towards the Central Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

S and SW winds 14-32, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic late in the day up to 38 knots. In the North Adriatic wind turning to NE and strengthening to 16-32, in places up to 40, spreading briefly in a part of the Central Adriatic in the evening. Sea 3-4, in the open late in the day and during the night 4-5. Visibility 5-15 km. Overcast with scattered rain, while heavier showers and thunder expected toward the end of the day. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic significantly colder.
