SYNOPSIS

A low centered over the North Adriatic will be shifting slowly southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE, in the open NW winds, 15-30, easing 10-20, during the night to 6-16 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SW and S winds 15-25, in the open sea up to 30, easing later on and during the night mainly NE and NW winds 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5, calming in the evening to 2-3, in the open to 3-4. Visibility 5-15 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places. End of precipitation and partial clearing in the North and Central, during the night in the South Adriatic as well.

Light to moderate NE and NW, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW and SW winds. Sea smooth or slight, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to moderate. Variably cloudy, in the south of the Adriatic still with rain and showers at first.
