A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds 6-16, toward the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic up to 22 knots. In the Velebit Channel this morning NE winds 10-20 knots. Along the greater part of the coast during the night calm or NE winds 4-12, in the Velebit Channel up to 16 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, or even to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic during the night and in the morning. Fine or fair, in places of the North Adriatic mainly cloudy.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Along the coast calm or light, in the Velebit Channel up to moderate NE winds. Toward the open sea moderate, in the South and Central Adriatic up to fresh NW winds. Sea smooth or slight. A little risk of fog, mainly in the North Adriatic. Fine or fair, in the open sea cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain or drizzle.
