LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AROUND 35, DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING ALL ALONG THE ADRIATIC 35-55, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 75 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A cold front is expected to shift during the night and tomorrow north of the Adriatic and a ridge of high pressure to intensify.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-14, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 18 knots. In the evening winds turning all along the Adriatic to NE 12-22, in the North and Central Adriatic up to 28, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair with more clouds and a with a risk of a little rain in the open of the Central and South Adriatic.

NE winds strengthening to moderate and strong, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force. Sea smooth or slight, in the open and in the Velebit Channel up to moderate. Variably cloudy and a little colder. Clearing is expected in the North Adriatic toward the middle of the day.
