A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26, and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 30 knots, easing later on and turning to NW 4-12 knots, firstly in the north of the Adriatic, only in the extreme south of Adriatic NE winds still 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3, locally up to 4, mainly in the extreme south, calming to 1-2, in the extreme south to 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.
