A RISK OF FOG IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.
SYNOPSIS
A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds 4-12, strengthening south of Istria late in the day to 6-16 knots. Along the coast during the night calm or NE winds 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing toward the open of the Central and South Adriatic late in the day to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km, but in the North Adriatic reduced to around 5 km due to mist, in places during the night even to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear, but becoming variably cloudy in places from the end of the day.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Light to moderate NW, along the coast calm or mainly light NE winds. Sea calm or smooth, toward the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to slight. Variably cloudy. A risk of fog in the northern part of the Adriatic.
