SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from northeastern Europe is gradually weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 8-16, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon 15-25 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Heavier cloud increase with scattered rain in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. No significant change in air temperatures.
