A trough with frontal system is approaching toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair of mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North, in the afternoon in the Central Adriatic as well. No significant change in air temperatures.

Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. Strong and near gale force SE, turning in the second part of the night in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to strong and near gale force NW, elsewhere SW winds. Sea slight and moderate.
