LOCAL GUSTS OF NW WINDS 35-50 KNOTS AND SEA IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC UP TO 5, EASING AND CALMING IN THE EVENING. TOMORROW TOWARD MIDDAY GUSTS OF SE WINDS AROUND 35 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A low over the Adriatic is filling up and shifting further southeastwards, while a new trough is expected to approach from the northwest during the night.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds 12-26, toward the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to 30, easing gradually in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and in the rest of the Adriatic in the evening to 6-16 knots, and turning in the north of the Adriatic during the night to SE. Sea 3-4, in the northern part 2-3, and in the open of the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Partial clearing.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
SE winds strengthening in the northern part of the Adriatic to moderate and strong, toward midday up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate. A new cloud increase.
